Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, followed by developing effective, personalized treatment plans. Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities to deliver individual therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices that promote positive mental health outcomes. Establish clear and achievable therapeutic goals with clients, regularly monitoring their progress towards these objectives. Provide accessible teletherapy options, ensuring clients receive the necessary support regardless of geographical or situational barriers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical and professional standards, ensuring a high level of service delivery. Engage in continuous professional development activities, staying current with best practices and innovations in mental health treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse client population facing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. You will have the opportunity to provide support and guidance to individuals from different backgrounds, fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment that addresses the unique cultural and personal factors that impact mental health. Qualifications Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy, understanding, and active listening. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times. Preferred Experience Previous experience providing therapy in a remote setting, with familiarity in teletherapy platforms and best practices. Experience working with diverse populations and understanding various cultural and socioeconomic factors that impact mental health. Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Cogwheel Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
