As part of our remote team, you will participate in ongoing training and engagement activities to maintain strong connections with colleagues and stay updated with developments in the field. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough client assessments to evaluate mental health conditions using standardized tools and interviews. Develop customized treatment plans based on the assessment results, ensuring alignment with clients’ goals and preferences. Facilitate one-on-one psychotherapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities suitable for each client's needs. Lead group therapy sessions or family counseling when appropriate, creating a supportive atmosphere for open dialogue. Continuously monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness. Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMRs) systems. Collaborate with other mental health and social service professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care, promoting better outcomes. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and peer reviews to enhance your knowledge and skills. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily serve a diverse client base that includes individuals and families seeking support for a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your focus will be on building trust and rapport with clients, establishing meaningful therapeutic relationships that foster growth and healing. Qualifications A master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining collaboration with the larger team. A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and commitment to best practices in mental health care. Proficiency in using electronic medical records and teletherapy tools to facilitate remote sessions. Preferred Experience Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with the unique challenges faced in such environments. Specialized training in specific therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is an asset. Knowledge of community mental health resources and crisis intervention strategies. Compensation and Benefits Omada Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 95,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience.
