Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, including crisis prevention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication management recommendations. Document clinical interactions and ensure all records meet regulatory compliance while adhering to best practices. Utilize evidence-based screening tools, collaborating with your clinical team to address the mental health needs of clients effectively. Participate actively in developing and executing behavior support plans, ensuring a holistic approach to client care. Engage in ongoing supervision and participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the excellence of our services. Act as a liaison with community partners, agencies, and stakeholders to bolster support networks for clients. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to foster a collaborative environment focused on recovery. Nurture and expand partnerships with local organizations and agencies that benefit our programs and clientele. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, supporting the overall mission and operations of the organization. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing emotional health issues, those recovering from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your role will be critical in tailoring your approach to meet the varied cultural and personal needs of these populations, ensuring they receive the appropriate support to foster recovery and personal growth. Qualifications A Master's Degree in a behavioral health discipline is required, along with an independent LMHC license issued by the state of Texas. Proven ability to maintain clinical documentation and prepare comprehensive reports effectively. Strong capability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, emphasizing innovative solutions to complex cases. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues. Demonstrated professional judgment in decision-making processes related to client care. Preferred Experience Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment, successfully connecting with clients through virtual platforms. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and evidence-based practices specific to mental health treatment. Previous involvement in community outreach or partnership development related to mental health services. Participation in professional organizations or networks associated with mental health recovery, treatment, or advocacy.
