Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, identifying specific needs and developing tailored treatment interventions. Utilize appropriate clinical modalities to conduct therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist patients in navigating their treatment objectives. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning by actively engaging in team meetings, case reviews, and documentation practices to ensure seamless communication across care providers. Provide ongoing case management for assigned patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals and community resources to facilitate comprehensive care and support. Maintain ethical documentation and meet departmental expectations for timely and accurate record-keeping. Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing supervision and attending training sessions relevant to evolving clinical practices. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Counselor at Trinity Health Behavioral Healthcare, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications A valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) issued by the state of New York is required. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential for this role. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
