Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist for Diverse Community Health Services

Position Overview Delmont Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring accessibility for your patients. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. You will be part of a collaborative team that emphasizes inclusivity and effective communication, utilizing telehealth platforms and secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' unique backgrounds and develop tailored treatment plans that respect and incorporate their cultural identities. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities suitable for diverse populations. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing an array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other medical professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care to each patient. Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic strategies as needed. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey. Maintain accurate documentation of clinical sessions and patient interactions, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Actively participate in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and case conferences to enhance team collaboration and patient care strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus Our diverse patient base includes individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrant populations. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid professional license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. A robust understanding of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural responsiveness in therapy. Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, particularly using techniques that are sensitive to cultural variations. Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in demanding situations. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that facilitate rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds. Competence with electronic health record systems and familiarity with practice management software. Commitment to ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding professional boundaries. A proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework. Preferred Experience Experience working in a community health setting or outpatient clinical environment. Familiarity with local community resources and support systems that can be leveraged for patient assistance. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care or culturally competent therapy practices are a plus. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
