Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of each patient, enhancing the clarity of the treatment plan. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence‑based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or culturally adapted modalities. Facilitate a variety of therapy sessions, including individual, family, and group settings, all designed to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Provide crisis intervention in urgent situations, offering immediate support and developing safety plans for patients in distress. Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care. Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. A current and valid license in Texas as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. A deep understanding of diverse mental health disorders and commitment to applying evidence‑based and culturally competent treatment strategies. Experience in individual and group therapy settings, utilizing an inclusive approach to connect with a varied clientele. Strong crisis management skills, with the ability to de‑escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
