Work Environment This position is fully remote, providing flexibility to accommodate both your professional commitments and personal life. Our team operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. The remote work setting allows you to effectively connect with clients from the comfort of your own space while still being an integral part of a passionate, committed team focused on patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique experiences and develop tailored treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting strategies to align with the cultural and individual contexts of patients. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns and fostering resilience. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic care experience for patients. Provide crisis intervention skills when faced with mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and swift support. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources. Maintain precise and confidential documentation as mandated by legal and ethical standards. Engage in regular case conferences, team meetings, and participate in ongoing cultural competency training. Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, continually seeking to improve service quality and cultural relevance. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily serve individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations. Your role is vital in ensuring these communities receive culturally responsive care that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences and challenges, helping to reduce barriers to mental health support. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. A deep understanding of mental health disorders, culturally sensitive treatment practices, and crisis intervention techniques. Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusivity and cultural responsiveness. Strong interpersonal communication skills that enable you to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology. Commitment to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all client interactions. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a supportive and inclusive clinic culture. Preferred Experience Experience in community health settings or clinics specializing in diverse populations. Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches. Understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by immigrant and minority populations. Experience with telehealth services and virtual therapy modalities. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
