We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Fairview East Healthcare and Behavioral Center in Anaheim, California. This full-time position is tailored for an individual who is passionate about helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in various therapeutic practices including assessment, treatment intervention, and patient education, aimed at promoting recovery and optimizing physical functioning.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Anaheim rehabilitation facility, which is designed to foster a supportive and innovative therapeutic atmosphere. You will provide care during regular office hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while meeting our patients' educational and therapeutic needs effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish personalized treatment plans that address individual patient goals and needs.
• Deliver high-quality therapy services at a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to develop unique care plans aimed at enhancing patients' motion and mobility potential.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Monitor and assess patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Document each patient interaction meticulously, maintaining accurate records in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Promote lifestyle changes that encourage improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through tailored fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, fostering teamwork and communication within the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our rehabilitation services is on orthopedic patients, many of whom seek recovery from surgeries or injuries. Our clientele often consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance who require both physical rehabilitation and educational support to regain their strength and independence. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be pivotal in guiding these patients toward achieving their physical goals and enhancing their overall health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to manage documentation and patient data.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to conduct tailored exercise regimens for diverse patient needs.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal abilities to foster trusting relationships with patients and team members alike.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
