Work Environment

This position will be performed onsite within our modern facility in Anaheim. Our collaborative environment encourages open communication among team members, creating a supportive atmosphere that fosters excellence in patient care. The predominant hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their specific rehabilitation needs and establish individualized care plans.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions focused on movement restoration, strength building, and pain reduction, with a patient load of one individual per hour.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
• Engage in open communication with patients to motivate and educate them about their treatment process and goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to develop comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Implement cost-effective interventions that minimize reliance on medications and promote non-surgical alternatives.
• Support the promotion of a healthy lifestyle by integrating fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's needs.
• Keep detailed records of patient care utilizing EMR software such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our practice is equipped to cater to a wide range of ages and activity levels, focusing on personalized care plans that enhance mobility and improve overall function.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California is mandatory.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions have been taken against the physical therapy license.
• Strong manual therapy skills are essential for effective patient treatment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Wellstar Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
