TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a motivated and experienced full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, California. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to empowering patients in their recovery journey, helping them to regain mobility and achieve their highest functional potential. You will collaborate closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans that enhance their quality of life, focusing on prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Located in the heart of Anaheim, TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a leading outpatient facility dedicated to delivering exceptional orthopedic care. Our practice is independently owned by a Physical Therapist and features a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot space equipped for sports medicine rehabilitation. We pride ourselves on offering personalized services to individuals primarily covered by private medical insurance, ensuring top-tier care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Work Environment

Our work environment is collaborative, supportive, and centered around patient wellbeing. As part of a dedicated team that includes two licensed Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work onsite in our fully equipped outpatient office. The facility is designed to foster recovery and wellness, incorporating the latest rehabilitation tools and technology to enhance patient experiences. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work schedule to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and set functional goals tailored to their specific needs.
• Manage a patient caseload, providing dedicated care to one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver high-quality treatments that improve mobility, enhance strength, and alleviate pain.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that integrate a variety of treatment methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Engage patients with tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to promote independence and healthy lifestyles.
• Effectively document and communicate patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications in care plans using EMR Software, particularly WebPT.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive atmosphere for recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, discussing shared patients and optimizing overall health strategies.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all patient services provided in compliance with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on orthopedic outpatient care, treating individuals with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of ages and activity levels, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals managing chronic pain, and patients post-surgery. We are dedicated to helping each patient regain their function and return to their daily activities through customized rehabilitative strategies.

Qualifications

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Proven record of clinical excellence, with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and motivate them through their rehabilitation journey.
• Competence in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
