Our facility encompasses a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine center, equipped with the latest technology and innovative treatment modalities. We cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible and tailored to meet their individual needs.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Anaheim. You will be joining a cohesive team consisting of two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who share your commitment to patient-centered care. Our collaborative environment promotes mutual learning and encourages the exchange of ideas to enhance treatment outcomes. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and articulate the goals and specific needs of each patient in your care.
• Maintain an effective patient load, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring quality interactions and care.
• Provide tailored therapy sessions focused on orthopedic rehabilitation, utilizing both traditional and innovative treatment techniques.
• Implement cost-effective therapies that prioritize improving patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and education.
• Design and recommend personalized fitness and wellness programs to enhance recovery and promote long-term health for each patient.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation process, empowering them towards optimal functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners to ensure cohesive treatment and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress in accordance with practice standards using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, including WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, many of whom are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. By empowering them to overcome physical limitations, you will play a vital role in their journey to reclaiming an active and fulfilling lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, free of any disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of exercise program design.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable success in guiding patients through rehabilitation protocols with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working in a private practice setting will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Baker's Field Therapy Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
