Balanced Bodies Wellness Center is seeking a motivated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our onsite home care facility located in Anaheim, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and align with patients' health goals and requirements.
• Manage a caseload effectively, providing dedicated one-on-one care with each patient for specific therapeutic sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to promote recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective interventions aimed at improving patients' mobility and overall wellbeing.
• Encourage alternative methods to medications and surgical interventions, emphasizing preventive care through lifestyle management.
• Document all patient care services accurately and maintain organized treatment records using EMR Software such as WebPT.
• Motivate patients, setting realistic objectives throughout their therapy to enhance their performance and engagement in treatment.
• Foster healthy lifestyle changes in patients by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care that addresses all aspects of recovery.
• Evaluate and document treatment outcomes regularly, ensuring that progress is communicated and strategies are adjusted as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, which may include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal-related issues. As a therapist, you will be integral in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, tailoring therapy sessions to meet their physical challenges and lifestyle goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in California.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions on licensure history.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for maintaining patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in developing comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to shared patient care objectives.

Compensation and Benefits
