Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation center in Anaheim. With a collaborative team of skilled professionals, including two licensed physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will work in an engaging environment that fosters teamwork and innovation. The center is well-equipped with advanced rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic tools to aid in a diverse range of recovery protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices to maximize mobility and independence.
• Manage a patient load, seeing approximately one patient per hour, ensuring quality, focused, and efficient care delivery.
• Offer cost-effective physical therapy solutions aimed at improving motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications and avoiding surgical interventions where possible.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and specialized exercise regimens, to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Thoroughly document all services provided using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to ensure compliance and effective communication.
• Motivate and educate patients regarding lifestyle changes and therapeutic practices to promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness and optimize patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation services following injury or surgery. You will engage with a diverse range of individuals, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs and conditions of each patient. The overarching goal is to empower patients to achieve their best functional abilities and foster a commitment to lifelong health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or board-related issues against the license.
• Proficiency in assessment and treatment methodologies specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in manual therapy and the ability to design effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record software, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
