Work Environment

This is an onsite role at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Santa Ana, where you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nutritionists. Our center is designed to provide a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Your work hours will generally be Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for new patients, including evaluations of their medical history, functional status, and personal rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessment results, ensuring alignment with patients' needs and commitments.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and patient education to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to their evolving needs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of care processes, patient interactions, and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients typically present with orthopedic conditions necessitating rehabilitation such as post-operative recovery from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be expected to engage with patients of all ages, ensuring culturally sensitive care is provided to enhance the overall patient experience. Your ability to educate and inspire patients on their recovery journey will greatly influence their adherence to treatment plans and long-term success.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of California.
• A clean professional record free from disciplinary actions related to your licensure.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a proven record of developing effective exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse patient demographics and adapting treatment approaches to fit individual needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, which will enhance documentation and administrative tasks.
• Certifications in specialized therapy techniques or a desire to pursue additional areas of expertise in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience, plus a robust benefits package that includes:
