Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing for a highly interactive and collaborative work atmosphere. You will work alongside two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all within a supportive and dynamic environment. The center's focus on orthopedic care means you will engage with diverse cases, enhancing your expertise while fostering strong relationships with your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit and assess the individual needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring their treatment aligns with their personal goals.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, delivering thorough and effective treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement comprehensive care plans integrating various treatment techniques.
• Tailor individualized wellness programs, including exercises that target strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout their rehabilitation journey while maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
• Engage patients through motivational strategies, promoting adherence to treatment regimens and encouraging a proactive approach to their recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to enhance patient outcomes and optimize treatment strategies.
• Document all treatment activities thoroughly for compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role concentrates on orthopedic patients, many of whom have private insurance, and are seeking recovery from surgeries or traumatic injuries. Your interventions will directly impact their ability to regain mobility, adapt to lifestyle changes, and improve their functional capacities, ultimately enabling them to return to normal activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A current and clean Physical Therapist license in California, free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Ability to effectively convey manual therapy techniques and tailor rehabilitation strategies.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR Software platforms, including WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated history of developing and leading exercise regimens successfully.
• Experience with advanced treatment modalities that enhance patient mobility and functional outcomes is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
