Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with the latest technology and amenities to support our patients on their journey to recovery.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our bustling outpatient office in Anaheim, where you will collaborate alongside a supportive team of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our work hours span Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work environment that prioritizes both patient care and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs, tailoring treatment approaches appropriately.
• Manage a patient caseload by providing an individual consult approximately once every hour, ensuring focused, quality treatment.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver individualized treatment plans that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Implement cost-effective strategies to lessen patients' dependence on medications and explore non-surgical treatment alternatives.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing various evidence-based interventions while consistently monitoring patient progress.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs to empower patients, encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Motivate and guide patients through their treatment journey, employing effective communication to optimize their physical functioning.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health by integrating exercises that improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient care, including evaluation of outcomes and treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring you possess the advanced knowledge and training crucial for this role.
• Current and valid physical therapy license in California, maintained without any disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated expertise in designing exercise protocols tailored for individuals with orthopedic needs.
• Competency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, primarily WebPT, to document patient progress and treatment plans efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, providing a solid foundation from which to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and communicate effectively with patients and team members alike.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
