Spanning 5,000 square feet, our clinic is equipped with the latest in sports medicine technology, allowing our team of physical therapists and therapists' assistants to provide effective treatment options tailored to each individual. Our clinic primarily services patients with private medical insurance, emphasizing personalized care and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our modern facility, which promotes a collaborative atmosphere among healthcare professionals. You will be part of a supportive team consisting of two other experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), as well as have ongoing communication with other healthcare practitioners. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a structured work-life balance while maximizing patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their personal goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, implementing evidence-based treatment protocols focused on rehabilitation and mobility enhancement.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to reduce pain, improve function, and promote overall wellness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design comprehensive care plans, integrating efforts to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate accurate records and effective communication.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery process, ensuring they engage in their individual care and adhere to prescribed home exercise programs.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs and goals.
• Promote healthy lifestyles by educating clients on fitness and wellness strategies that boost strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain abreast of the latest practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, sports-related conditions, and chronic pain. The therapist will play a critical role in helping patients regain independence, navigate physical challenges, and enhance their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist License with no board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Strong manual therapy skills and effective exercise therapy knowledge.
• Ability to work with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs.
• Experience with sport injury rehabilitations would be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with annual earnings ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
