Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our Huntington Beach rehabilitation center, offering an inviting atmosphere that fosters collaboration and commitment to patient care. Our center operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and serves primarily patients with private medical insurance to ensure a focus on individualized treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to work closely with two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a supportive environment aimed at achieving the best possible rehabilitation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and define individual patient goals and needs through comprehensive assessments.
• Manage a caseload that allows for one-on-one attention, maintaining a patient load of one client per hour to ensure quality care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver personalized treatment protocols aimed at improving patients' motion and mobility.
• Develop and implement innovative treatment plans with a focus on effective, cost-efficient solutions that minimize the need for medications and explore non-surgical interventions.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific requirements of each patient, promoting strength, flexibility, and functional independence.
• Document and track patient progress, treatment effectiveness, and modifications to care plans during treatment sessions.
• Encourage patient motivation and engagement throughout their recovery journey, empowering them to achieve their physical health goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain open communication with patients regarding their treatment plans, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your contributions will directly benefit a diverse range of patients seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates who have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with no recorded board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in designing and implementing exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy are highly preferred. Such experience will provide a solid foundation in effective rehabilitation strategies and methodologies, enhancing your ability to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
