Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a supportive, onsite environment that encourages professional development and collaboration. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, the Physical Therapist will engage with both patients and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring an optimal experience and effective communication throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify goals and tailor treatment plans that address their individual needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated time and attention to each client.
• Utilize skilled manual therapy techniques and innovative therapeutic modalities to promote healing and enhance mobility.
• Design and implement exercise regimens that improve strength, flexibility, and overall physical functioning.
• Explore non-surgical treatment alternatives and minimize reliance on medications, striving for cost-effective solutions to patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and maintain precise records in compliance with best practices and regulations, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop cohesive treatment strategies and promote a healthy lifestyle among patients.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering independence and long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily engage with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgery rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent educational background).
• Current California licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• No prior board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills, demonstrating an ability to assess and treat various conditions effectively.
• Experience in developing personalized exercise routines that align with evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, and proficiency in using them efficiently to enhance patient documentation and care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred, as it ensures that the candidate is well-versed in common conditions treated in our facility.
• A background in sports medicine or rehabilitation is considered a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits
