Work Environment

This is an onsite position within our outpatient office in Long Beach, where a collaborative and supportive environment prevails. Our team of healthcare professionals works closely together, ensuring each therapist can thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team. Operating on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, our office promotes a healthy work-life balance while maintaining a focus on productivity and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through thorough evaluations to identify their functional limitations and treatment goals.
• Provide personalized therapy sessions, maintaining a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and effective care.
• Utilize expert knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver evidence-based treatment strategies designed to enhance patients' motions and mobility.
• Prioritize non-surgical interventions, reducing reliance on medications and exploring alternative solutions tailored to individual needs.
• Design customized care plans that include a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities appropriate for each patient's condition.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting methods as necessary and documenting progress for comprehensive patient records.
• Foster patient motivation by promoting a mindset committed to rehabilitation and a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Maintain open channels of communication with patients and collaborate efficiently with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no board actions or disciplinary measures recorded against the license.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills, alongside proficiency in developing effective exercise routines that target specific physical challenges.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment, evidenced by a successful track record in patient rehabilitation.
• A commitment to continued education in physical therapy and familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 125,000 annually, reflecting the value of your skills and experience.
