New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our skilled team in Long Beach, California. Work Environment

At New Life Physical Therapy, you will join a collaborative team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The environment is dynamic and supportive, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth. Our interdisciplinary approach fosters collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and mobility challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain an effective patient caseload, with a focus on one-on-one therapy sessions to optimize recovery.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients on techniques to minimize pain, improve mobility, and maintain an active lifestyle.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their commitment to treatment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to continually monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in EMR software such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals with private medical insurance seeking rehabilitation services for orthopedic-related injuries and conditions. You will work closely with a variety of patients who may be recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or enhancing athletic performance. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery and adaptation processes.

Qualifications

• Holders of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are encouraged to apply.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California without any disciplinary actions or board violations.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience designing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience using EMR Systems, particularly WebPT, for effective patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in outcomes-based therapy and patient management.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team-oriented environment, contributing to shared goals and objectives.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
