Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical conditions, assessing strength, flexibility, and functional capabilities to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities, perform hands-on manual therapy, and utilize advanced rehabilitation techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, progress updates, and home exercise programs, ensuring understanding and compliance for enhanced outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards to support quality assurance.
• Continually engage in professional development by staying current with the latest physical therapy techniques, research, and best practices to enhance patient care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At OrthoSport PT, you will primarily work with orthopedic outpatient patients, including individuals undergoing recovery from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and post-injury rehabilitation. Our patient demographics reflect a diverse range of backgrounds and needs, each requiring personalized care and tailored treatment approaches to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire, with maintenance of certification as required.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques and experience treating sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation cases, and managing chronic pain syndromes are preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and patient management is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
