Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite in our outpatient office located in vibrant Los Angeles, CA. You will be part of a dynamic team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring optimal work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients. Our facility is designed to promote a healing environment, featuring modern treatment areas and rehabilitation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' goals and create individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Efficiently manage a caseload of two patients per hour, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization skills.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to facilitate patient recovery.

• Document patient progress thoroughly in our EMR system (WebPT), ensuring all interactions and treatment outcomes are accurately recorded.

• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive environment that encourages participation and compliance.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to provide well-rounded care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adapt care plans as necessary to ensure progressive and efficient recovery.

• Educate patients about prevention strategies, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population mainly consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, athletes seeking rehabilitation, and patients requiring post-operative care. By employing personalized treatment plans, we aim to restore function and mobility, empowering our clients to achieve their individual health and fitness objectives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, with a bachelor's degree as the minimum educational requirement.

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California with a spotless record, free from disciplinary actions.

• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing and implementing tailored exercise programs.

• Familiarity with EMR platforms, specifically WebPT, is a significant advantage for efficient patient documentation and care management.

• Strong interpersonal skills, complemented by excellent communication and organizational abilities, to ensure effective patient engagement and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing diverse caseloads and providing care to a wide range of patients with varying needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
