Work Environment

This full-time position is based in a home care setting across Los Angeles, allowing you to work closely with patients in the comfort of their own environments. This unique setting fosters a personal connection between you and the patients, enabling you to assess their needs within the context of their daily lives. Our typical schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, facilitating a work-life balance while dedicating your efforts toward transformative patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients to design and implement customized treatment plans that align with their individual recovery goals.
• Conduct thorough assessments and provide hands-on therapeutic interventions in a one-on-one outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Introduce and advocate for non-surgical, medication-free options tailored to each patient's long-term recovery strategy.
• Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation methodologies to enhance mobility, manage pain, and foster strength and endurance.
• Create and promote personalized wellness programs that contribute to patients' sustainable health improvements.
• Document patient progress meticulously, utilizing EMR systems (experience with WebPT is preferred), to ensure continuity of care.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to address complex patient needs and optimize treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse age groups, tailoring your approach to meet the unique challenges and goals of each individual. Emphasis is placed on holistic care that considers the physical, emotional, and social aspects of the recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active California Physical Therapist license in good standing is essential to practice in our facilities.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation settings, showcasing a strong commitment to patient care.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with EMR systems (preferably WebPT) are highly valued skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years is required, candidates with experience specifically in home care or outpatient orthopedic clinics will have a distinct advantage. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and participation in continuing education programs will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
