Work Environment

This role is conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility located in Long Beach, California. You will be working closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, fostering a collaborative atmosphere focused on patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children and adults, utilizing clinical expertise to assess their physical abilities and challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, regularly adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress through the completion of thorough SOAP notes and treatment records in accordance with our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and timelines.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, therapeutic exercises, and strategies to overcome potential obstacles during recovery.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's operational objectives, promoting both individual and organizational success.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines to ensure comprehensive care for patients receiving multiple services, leveraging multidisciplinary insights for enhanced treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population consisting of children and adults with various physical conditions and developmental challenges. You will work with clients of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and physical abilities, adapting your approach to meet each individual's specific circumstances and cultural context. This enables our team to deliver effective and empathetic care tailored to the unique needs of our clients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Must hold a current, unrestricted physical therapist license from the Board of Physical Therapy in California.
• Experience providing in-person physical therapy evaluations and treatments; familiarity with telehealth applications is an asset.
• A passion for working with diverse patient populations, with sensitivity to the challenges faced by individuals from different backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
