Great Marshall Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis in Long Beach, California. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Long Beach, CA, our rehabilitation center is designed for functionality and comfort, facilitating an optimal healing environment. As part of our onsite team, you will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), sharing insights and learning together to continuously improve patient outcomes. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a work-life balance that is conducive to maintaining your professional and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations, devising personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Provide evidence-based interventions, managing a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure thorough attention and care.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that emphasize functional independence, focusing on enhancing motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise science principles, and specialized modalities to promote recovery.
• Document treatment efficacy continually to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, maintaining communications with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate exemplary care delivery.
• Empower patients through education on wellness strategies that include injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, injury recovery, and preventative care. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this role, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic principles and practices.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Proficiency in using EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and enhance patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a solid foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Previous involvement in developing and leading exercise regimens to effectively address musculoskeletal disorders.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients, fostering trust and encouraging adherence to their treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
