Work Environment

This position is based onsite within a hospital setting in Anaheim, California, where you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals. Our facility promotes a collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that every team member plays a vital role in patient recovery. As a full-time member of our team, you will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing consistent support to our patients and facilitating their healing journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment programs designed to improve patients' physical health and mobility based on their unique orthopedic conditions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, utilizing modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation under professional supervision to maximize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, providing input and suggestions to the treatment plan to ensure continuity of care and adjust therapies as needed.
• Educate patients regarding their exercises, focusing on proper techniques, injury prevention strategies, and safe movement patterns to empower them in their rehabilitation process.
• Set up and operate therapeutic equipment safely, ensuring patients receive the benefits of the latest therapeutic tools in a secure environment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all treatment sessions in compliance with clinic policies and regulations to support continuity of care.
• Engage effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they grasp their treatment plans and understand the steps involved in their recovery journey.
• Uphold a clean and organized treatment environment while assisting in the day-to-day operations of the clinic as required to maintain smooth workflow.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Athletic Edge Physiotherapy, you will primarily focus on patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. Your compassionate approach will play a crucial role in improving their quality of life. You will work with diverse patient populations, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgery, and patients with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• A strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and modalities.

• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude, demonstrating a genuine commitment to high-quality patient care.
• CPR/BLS certification is required to ensure patient safety during care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
