Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to manage your time effectively while supporting patients in the comfort of their own environments. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust schedules as needed to accommodate patient appointments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients’ unique experiences and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in diverse formats, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Utilize culturally responsive techniques to engage patients, ensuring that care reflects their individual values and beliefs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services to support individuals facing immediate mental health challenges, ensuring timely and effective support.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge.
• Maintain meticulous and secure documentation of patient interactions, adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights that enhance team approaches and cultural competency.
• Engage in ongoing education regarding best practices, mental health trends, and cultural considerations to keep your skills sharp and relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and recent immigrants. Your expertise in cultural competence will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of mental health challenges relevant to these groups. Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, demonstrating your ability to practice independently.
• Strong foundation in mental health disorders and approaches, combined with a demonstrated commitment to cultural competency.
• Experience providing group and individual therapy, utilizing inclusive methods that resonate with diverse populations.
• Proven crisis intervention skills, with a capacity to maintain composure and professional judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communications skills, fostering rapport and trust with patients from various backgrounds.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to streamline documentation and communication.
• A steadfast commitment to professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality and appropriate boundaries in all interactions.
