Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on client-centered approaches to enhance mental health and well-being.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients regarding their emotions and experiences, enabling them to gain insights into their personal challenges and relationships.
• Serve as an advocate for clients by assisting them in identifying their goals and working collaboratively to achieve them.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions comprehensively and design tailored treatment plans using a solution-focused approach informed by your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our typical clients are stable adults with low acuity, ensuring a focus on manageable cases that allow for effective therapeutic relationships. We meticulously screen each client prior to their first appointment to ensure they align with your areas of expertise and demographic preferences, giving you the opportunity to work within your specialization.

Qualifications

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Active, unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic nature to facilitate effective client interactions.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in mental health counseling. Those with backgrounds in solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or other evidence-based practices will be particularly effective in this role. Additionally, experience managing caseloads through virtual platforms will be advantageous.
