Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings to identify clients' concerns and needs effectively, both via telehealth and in person.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider each client's unique mental health history, challenges, and aspirations.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based modalities, ensuring clients feel understood and supported in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to form a multidisciplinary team, ensuring clients receive holistic and integrated care.
• Educate and involve clients' families in the treatment process, fostering a supportive network that enhances the recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in accordance with all regulatory standards, ensuring ethical compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Courageous Care, you will encounter a wide range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds and life experiences, allowing you to enhance your clinical skills and cultural competency while making a significant impact on your clients’ lives.

Qualifications

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, while a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field, showcasing a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Sound knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating various mental health disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently.
• Experience providing treatment for specific populations such as children, adolescents, or those facing substance use challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
