Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy strategies for clients, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to tailor your approach to their specific needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities to individuals, couples, groups, and families, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and clinical supervisors, to ensure holistic care is provided to all clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring thorough documentation of all interactions and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred.
• A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New York is mandatory.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required; experience in remote counseling is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working within outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
