Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate clients’ mental health needs, allowing you to formulate detailed and personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions that address various mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship concerns.
• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care, facilitating optimal patient outcomes and service delivery.
• Deliver immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, effectively utilizing your therapeutic expertise to stabilize their situation while fostering a sense of safety and support.
• Engage in community outreach efforts, developing educational workshops or initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build trust and rapport with clients effectively.
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred, as this entails a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy delivery, benefiting from a digital-first approach to mental health care.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices specific to trauma-informed care and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
