Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and circumstances.
• Provide short-term individual counseling as well as crisis intervention services for patients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups or workshops that address critical topics such as coping strategies, resilience building, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the community health clinic, including medical teams and support staff, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma within the community.
• Maintain meticulous, accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is to serve a diverse client population that includes individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. Many of our patients experience barriers to accessing care, and as their therapist, you will play a vital role in guiding them through their mental health journeys, helping them to achieve improved emotional well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as either an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is essential; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health issues, particularly those experienced by patients in a community health setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful connections with patients and collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapeutic interventions suitable for a fast-paced counseling environment.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload while adapting to the evolving needs of patients and the demands of the role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with patients in a remote setting or understanding of teletherapy best practices is highly advantageous.
• Prior involvement within community health initiatives or collaborations with local organizations related to mental health would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement therapeutic programs or outreach efforts aimed at enhancing community mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary range for this position is USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
