Work Environment

This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a focus on quality patient care. Our team operates primarily in an outpatient community health clinic framework, ensuring that you can access necessary resources and collaborate with peers while adhering to a flexible schedule. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends required, fostering an ideal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a caseload of clients, establishing strong therapeutic relationships built on trust and professionalism.
• Conduct initial intake assessments to evaluate client needs, followed by ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Create, implement, and monitor personalized treatment strategies in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their goals and needs.
• Document and maintain up-to-date progress notes, treatment plans, and any relevant client communications in compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular individual therapy sessions, focusing on treatment modalities appropriate for each client's unique mental health challenges.
• Engage in clinical supervision and continuous professional development to refine skills and integrate feedback into practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and community resources, to provide comprehensive care and referrals as needed.
• Maintain a growth-oriented mindset, actively engaging in professional training and education opportunities to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, anxiety, depressive disorders, and eating disorders. Your role will be critical in fostering a supportive environment where clients can candidly express their thoughts and feelings, working towards individual recovery goals through structured therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting following graduation.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, excellent communication, and empathetic listening skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to a variety of mental health disorders.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth software and digital documentation tools for client management and communication.
• Background in providing support for clients with co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise. We operate on a fee-for-service model, guaranteeing rates are paid ahead of collections, alleviating cash-flow concerns. Additional benefits include:
