Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility while still ensuring high-quality engagement with our clientele. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings to identify patients’ psychological needs and craft tailored treatment plans while employing appropriate evidence-based practices.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and short-term counseling to patients confronting diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and workshops designed to foster community, personal growth, and reinforce mental wellness among participants.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams by liaising with healthcare providers, case managers, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage proactively in outreach programs aimed at increasing mental health awareness within the Fullerton community, including seminars and wellness campaigns.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in alignment with ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• A strong understanding of mental health issues prevalent in various populations, especially within a community health setup.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and work within a diverse healthcare environment.
• Competence in utilizing evidence-based practices that are particularly suited to individuals seeking care in a remote setting, including knowledge of digital health tools.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within a community health clinic or similar settings.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging between $115,000 and $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
