As a Licensed Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including PTSD, emotional difficulties, and behavioral issues. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while still maintaining a structured schedule. Our working hours run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which supports a healthy work-life balance. The telehealth setting allows you to engage with clients through secure video conferencing tools, providing the convenience of accessing therapy without the limitations of geographic location.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth client assessments to thoroughly understand each individual's unique mental health needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, adapting your methods based on individual client goals.
• Guide clients struggling with PTSD through structured therapeutic interventions, offering them a safe space to explore their feelings and experiences.
• Coordinate care by connecting clients with additional resources, services, and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in compliance with ICD-9 standards, ensuring that client progress is documented and accessible within our secure systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to enhance treatment approaches and improve overall care quality.
• Support families by conducting family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening relationships and improving communication dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various behavioral issues, providing them with the coping strategies they need to thrive.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Current California license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• At least two years of relevant experience in providing mental health therapy and case management services.
• Familiarity with therapy models such as CBT, ABA, or others is essential for effective treatment.
• A strong ability to connect and communicate effectively with a wide range of clients from different backgrounds, including families and children.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills to manage multiple clients and adhere to treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth setting, utilizing virtual platforms for therapy sessions.
• A history of working with diverse populations, understanding the unique challenges each face, particularly in a remote counseling environment.
• Strong background in crisis intervention strategies and emergency response procedures.
