Full-Time Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT)

Position Overview

Serene Balance Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team as a full-time remote therapist. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, adhering to best practices in remote therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and treatment goals.
• Regularly assess client progress and make methodical adjustments to treatment strategies as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing psychological emergencies, while documenting significant behavioral changes according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical interactions, ensuring that all progress notes are completed before the end of each shift and reflect client progress toward their objectives.
• Interface with healthcare providers to advocate for client services and support their overall treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse client base, including adults, children, couples, and families grappling with a variety of mental health issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid state license as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a track record of delivering quality therapy to diverse populations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members alike.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for managing client information.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family systems therapy).
• Ability to adapt to changing client needs and schedules, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

• Competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
