Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations of client mental health needs through virtual sessions.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique goals and requirements.
• Providing individual therapy to adult clients using a variety of evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic approaches.
• Utilizing teletherapy platforms to deliver inclusive therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility to clients in different regions.
• Offering crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring that clients receive immediate support when urgent situations arise.
• Engaging in continuous professional development activities to remain informed about the latest best practices and updates in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, consisting primarily of adults facing a range of mental health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Viva Wellness, you will work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other psychological conditions. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe space for clients to explore their struggles and achieve positive outcomes through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and facilitating productive sessions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently manage client caseloads.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, particularly those that are evidence-based and solution-focused.
• A proven track record in effectively managing a diverse caseload of clients and demonstrating positive outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
