Position Overview

Life Vista Counseling Center is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services to a diverse range of clients in our outpatient setting. Work Environment

In this role, you will primarily work in a remote setting, with access to a well-equipped outpatient office when needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to accurately determine their mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Deliver effective and evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and other pertinent techniques.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate holistic care and ensure that all client needs are met seamlessly.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing your clinical expertise to stabilize situations and connect clients with necessary resources.
• Engage in community outreach and educational efforts to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and support local initiatives aimed at enhancing overall community health.

Qualifications

• A valid and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from various walks of life.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively connect with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills, enabling the accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings, those who have utilized teletherapy platforms, or who have engaged in community outreach initiatives. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Life Vista Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
