Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Remote Opportunity

Driscoll Psychological and Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to join our team. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility to work from your home office while also maintaining a presence at our outpatient facility in Joliet. We utilize innovative technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions, ensuring convenient and effective treatment options for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, to create comprehensive diagnostic profiles and risk assessments of clients.
• Partner with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that take into account their individual needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through various formats including individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Implement crisis intervention strategies, coordinating care with other health professionals to provide immediate support for clients facing acute mental health challenges.
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date clinical documentation that adheres to organizational policies and regulatory standards, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families, equipping them with essential skills and strategies for managing mental health issues.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to ensure well-rounded, comprehensive client care.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, utilizing feedback to refine and adjust treatment strategies aimed at improving client results.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practices to enhance client care.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality, ensuring that all patient information is secured and respected.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for connecting with individuals from various cultural demographics and backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, specifically in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy sessions utilizing CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based practices.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client support and continuity of care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and USD 84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
