Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health statuses, strengths, and areas of concern.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring they align with the unique goals and needs of each client.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches and solution-focused techniques, adapting strategies according to client feedback and progress.
• Utilize teletherapy to conduct virtual sessions effectively, ensuring high-quality interaction and support.
• Respond to clients in crisis, providing immediate intervention and support while coordinating care as necessary.
• Participate in continuous professional development opportunities, staying current with best practices and emerging research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, comprising individuals from various backgrounds and experiencing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. As a therapist at Hopeful Horizons, you will work closely with adult clients, providing them with the tools and support needed to navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their personal growth goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in relevant fields including Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, along with an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Demonstarate strong organizational capabilities and efficient time management skills.
• No disciplinary actions against your license in the past.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree relevant to mental health therapy, candidates with experience in diverse therapeutic methodologies and individual therapy sessions will be preferred.
