Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to identify individual mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one virtual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor client progress towards established therapeutic goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards, while preserving client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our Detox Center, you will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders, trauma-related challenges, anxiety, and depression. This role focuses on providing empathetic support to clients navigating these complex issues, fostering a safe space where they feel valued and understood. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery processes and overall mental health.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to foster supportive therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Exceptional empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills to balance a dynamic caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a detox or addiction recovery setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling methods.

Compensation and Benefits
