Work Environment

Our outpatient office in Clarksburg, Maryland, operates in a dynamic remote setting, providing full access to resources and collaboration among team members. The core working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts necessary based on client need. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to evaluate clients' psychological needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe environment that encourages personal growth, skills development, and emotional healing.
• Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to integrate treatment plans and support holistic patient care.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing swift support and solutions for clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities to continuously enhance clinical skills.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health care, adapting to new information and methodologies as they emerge.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC, LCMFT, or LCSW-C in Maryland, demonstrating your ability to practice competently in the state.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to build therapeutic relationships, perform in-depth evaluations, and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Possession of excellent crisis intervention skills and the capability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on mental health therapy is preferred.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology to enhance service delivery and patient care.
• Adeptness at engaging in individual and group therapy with a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Demonstrated strength in interpersonal communication, fostering rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
