RN Admissions

AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN Admissions to support our Greensboro and Burlington service areas. The position is full-time with shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00am to 9:00pm. Job Summary The RN Admissions will explain hospice services to patients and families and assist with signing consent documents. The role includes coordinating, collaborating, and developing a plan of care with patients, significant others, and interdisciplinary team members, focusing on patient-centered outcomes. Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, organizing, prioritizing, teaching, delegating, supervising, and coordinating the care of adult and geriatric patients. This includes initial assessment, planning, coordination, evaluation, and teaching to provide care and support to terminally ill patients and their families, and performing other nursing duties as requested. Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standing with NCBON. At least one year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health, or long-term care setting. Bachelor's degree in nursing is a plus. Two years of experience is a plus. Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS). Valid state-issued driver's license and own transportation (automobile liability insurance required by agency).
