Job Purpose Our Carrollton facility is looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler for our Medical Device manufacturing operations. Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals. Take stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing necessary materials and components. Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor products through the complete production cycle based on customer orders and delivery requirements Work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules Make or recommend revisions to planned production schedules as necessary when schedules cannot be met Reschedule rework, unfinished parts, and assemblies, new production releases, and special orders Establish effective communication with various departments as necessary to meet production requirements Education And Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years related experience Strong knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and processes A strong background in MRP An understanding of master scheduling and forecasting processes Working knowledge of FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485 and ability to understand other medical device regulations and standards Preferred experience with electronic multi level builds who is willing to work in a fast paced environment Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong computer skills with MS Office / Google suite experience Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.
