Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Newark, DE
Contract Duration: 3 months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate Range: $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr. on W2
Schedule: This position is located in Newark, DE. The position is rotating shift. 12 hours per shift. 36 hours or 48 hours per week. Nights and day work.
Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM (Monday to Thursday)
Work Authorization: Only USC or GC

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
Summary:

• QC Analyst I within the Quality Control team. The QC Analyst I will be responsible for performing testing on the finished product, in-process, or raw material samples in the chemistry lab to provide analytical information to support the manufacturing process and ensure the product meets specification and consumer safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and consistently perform routine testing in the QC lab.
• Conduct testing in accordance with SOP's.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration procedures on laboratory equipment.
• Prepare and qualify reagents as required.
• Analyze and report results via LIMS and communicate/present test results and pertinent information to appropriate persons.
• Position requires ability to operate on rotating shift schedule.

Experience:

• 6 months to 2 years' experience in a GMP laboratory or equivalent with experience in a chemistry lab preferred.
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and analytical testing procedures preferred.
• Good math and analytical skills (ability to perform calculations).
• Computer literacy with MS Office, email, Internet, etc.
• Education:
• Minimum High School Degree with Associates of Applied Science Degree preferred in chemical technology, microbiology, or related fields of study or equivalent combination of education and experience.
