Contract | Nights | 36–48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer treatment interventions in accordance with established emergency nursing protocols
• Coordinate and execute discharge planning and discharge care for ED patients
• Accurately document all patient care activities within Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of acute care experience
• Current Epic experience required; candidates must have Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience working in an Epic conversion or backfill environment
