Concierge

Position: Concierge Facility: Beach Breeze Rehab and Care Location: West Palm Beach, FL Shift: Full-Time 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $18–$23 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview Beach Breeze Rehab and Care is seeking a dedicated Concierge to enhance the experience of our Residents by providing exceptional customer service, coordination, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a warm, compassionate demeanor and a talent for building strong relationships with Residents, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Admissions Department to prepare rooms for new Residents, ensuring all necessary equipment (beds, oxygen, etc.) is available. Ensure rooms are clean and ready for occupancy, verifying previous belongings are removed and confirming lights, call bells, and TVs are functioning. Assemble welcome baskets and greet new Residents to make them feel comfortable. Provide support to Residents and families, addressing complaints or concerns through the Grievance Process. Answer call bells and assist Residents or notify staff as needed. Attend in-service training, Resident Council meetings, and supervisory meetings. Assist with tours and room changes as required. Complete Concierge follow-up forms within 48 hours of admission and prior to discharge. Coordinate with laundry to retrieve belongings for readmitted Residents. Distribute gift bags for discharged Residents and monitor scheduled smoking sessions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or long-term care setting. Strong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills. Compassionate and proactive approach to Resident care. Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
