Proctors Collaborative Bartending StaffProctors Collaborative is the Capital District's leading regional arts organization with performing arts venues in Albany, Schenectady and Saratoga, and education, civic engagement and economic development initiatives throughout the region. We're changing expectations about how the arts serve a community.Proctors is seeking per diem bartending staff for our bars on performance days and evenings and for events. Hours will fluctuate yet be known well in advance.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare drink orders accurately, neatly, and promptlyMaintain correct drink portionsFollow cleaning and sanitation standardsUnderstand the Point-of-Sale systemProvide exceptional, friendly customer service to all guestsEngage in constructive dialog with management and other bartenders in discussion of best practices in all aspects of the workflow.Provide well thought and reasoned feedback both during and after shiftsAbility to accurately follow established Company policies and proceduresDress according to company requirements for the position – Proctors shirt, black pants without holes, tear, stainsPositions QualificationsHave TIPS Certification. Training will be provided by Proctors Collaborative as neededPossess knowledge of most mixed drinks, wine varietals and beerUnderstand alcohol serving guidelines and quality controlPhysical DemandsAbility to lift 40 poundsAbility to stand for extended periods of timePay Rate: $16.00 per hourProctors Collaborative is committed to building a workplace that is both creative and progressive.
