Join the freezer, cooler, and deli team to keep shelves stocked and maintain sanitary conditions in freezers and coolers. In the deli department, provide front‑line customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and product presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area, performing claims, returns, zoning, receiving, stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing, pricing, completing audits, paperwork, logs, and other required records. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Follow food handling policies and cold‑chain procedures, operate, repair, and sanitize equipment, clean freezer/cooler/deli areas (windows, mirrors, displays, and coolers), monitor fans, drains, and doors for proper operation, and report issues to management. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Completion of all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage: $19.00 – $27.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location). Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work.
